“The light image on the blank canvas, captured on the photo, is to me, a metaphor for human identity. The image was created by projecting light, through a basin filled with water, into which- drop by drop- writing ink and breast milk were added. The blank canvas turned into a light painting, mirroring the movement of the liquids.
The drops of breast milk, are symbol of our most existential bond- the mother bond- nourishing our body and soul, forming a life line that connects us as humankind. The ink: symbol for our cultural identity, inscribed in the books, that form our understanding of the principles that define the order of the society we live in.”
